Fat, fresh and screaming are words that have been used to describe the sound of an Artec Milestone classic soapbar. Although this early prototype of a pickup was meant to be replaced by the humbucker in the early 50s, it is an enduring classic that is still loved today. The neck pickup is calibrated so that it does not overpower the bridge pickup and uses #42 plain enamel wire and sand casted Alnico 5 magnets. As well as the authentic sound the cover is designed as an exact recreation of the original.
