Rope core, chrome steel wound strings, favoured by orchestral players. They are particularly suited to arco playing and canwithstand a powerful and heavy bowing arm. Original Flat Chrome strings produce a very clear brilliant sound with a short sustain. The tuning is stable and their powerful sound and projection is slightly more than Original Flexcor.
