These Sitka spruce guitar tops come from trees that grow in the forests of North West America, Canada and Alaska. They are graded according to how well they are 1/4 sawn, stiffness of the board and grain runout, as well as closeness and eveness of grain and colour.
The Sitka Spruce fronts tend to have a slight pinkish tinge compared to the whiter colour of European Spruce. This will go slightly darker and golden as it ages.
They are not all cut to a standard size, but most will be big enough for a Dreadnought steel string guitar (supplied as a bookmatched pair) - please specify your minimum required dimensions when ordering
