This oil varnish is perfect for varnishing violins or other stringed instruments. It contains a mixture of natural and synthetic resins, dissolved in turpentine and linseed oil.
This base coat or primer is thinner that the standard varnish for faster drying and better penetration into the wood, providing a good base for subsequent coats.
