A lower tension string made with a high tensile steel rope core which is wound with chrome steel. This set provides a round, very warm tone with instantaneous bow response and clear distinction between the notes in fast passages. Passione double bass strings offer outstanding arco playability with an inspiring diversity of sound.
The big advantage of Passione strings is that only a small amount of bow pressure is needed as the strings vibrate freely and easily. The set is extremely well-balanced regarding tension and sound with good tuning stability.
